Day 1 and Day 2 are run consecutively, however weather conditions or other external factors may force us to postpone the second day (Ocean Day).
ABOUT
Our Freediver course is your first step into the world of exploring the open ocean, on one breath. You will be given the knowledge and techniques to truly discover what you are capable of and what your body is built to do.
Day 1 our instructors will guide you through the Theory of Freediving, a breath and meditation workshop, a pool skills session to teach you the fundamental techniques needed to become a competent and safe freediver.
Day 2 we will head out to explore the blue open ocean to dive to a depth of 10m to 16m, explore the natural wildlife and practice your newfound skills.
By the end of this course, you will achieve.
- A static breath hold of minimum 1'30''
- A dynamic apnea of 25m
- A constant weight dive to 10m - 16m
- A competent pool and ocean rescue
To enrol in our Freediver course you:
- Must be 12 years old or older.
- Must be able to swim 200 meters.
- Have no medical conditions related to this activity.
No prior experience with snorkelling, skin diving or freediving is required.
No Gear? NO PROBLEM
We have 5mm wetsuits and long fins for rent. Just select the right options at the time of booking.
