Join us in Amed for an immersive 12-day experience combining a professional freediving instructor course with our popular Amed Freediving Retreat.

You will begin with 4 days dedicated to your Instructor Course, followed by 8 days of our full Amed Retreat, giving you the opportunity to continue developing your own freediving while connecting with a community of like-minded divers.

Before the course starts, you will need to choose which certification pathway you would like to follow. This is important because you will need to complete the relevant preparation and study before arriving in Bali.

You can choose between:

• SSI Freediving Instructor Level 1

• Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor (W2i)

Your chosen pathway must be confirmed before the start of the course so we can provide you with the relevant course materials and preparation requirements.

The Instructor Course is designed for experienced freedivers who want to develop the knowledge, skills and teaching abilities required to become a professional freediving instructor.

You will work on both theoretical and practical aspects of freediving instruction, including teaching methodology, safety, coaching, demonstration skills and developing the confidence to work with students in the water.

This is an in-depth professional program designed to prepare you for your next step as a freediving instructor.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

To participate in the Instructor Course, you must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Have completed SSI Level 3 Freediving, Molchanovs Wave 3 or an equivalent qualification.

• Hold a valid Australian First Aid/CPR certificate

• Hold a valid Oxygen Provider certificate

• Have a valid Dive Medical certificate signed by a doctor

• Own your own complete freediving equipment

• Complete the required preparation and study for your selected agency before arriving

Additional agency-specific requirements may apply depending on the Instructor pathway selected.

This experience based instructor course will truly take you away from the busy world we live in. Meet like-minded freedivers, connect and share experiences, reconnect with nature and immerse yourself in the freediving world.

Situated in Bali's freediving mecca, Amed, you will spend 12 days surrounded by turquoise waters, incredible marine life and a community of passionate freedivers.

• Daily line diving sessions in the turquoise waters of Amed

• Wreck exploration at the breathtaking US Liberty Ship Wreck, a 125m World War II shipwreck and one of Bali's most famous dive sites

This product is designed for divers who want to combine their professional instructor development with an unforgettable freediving retreat in Bali.

The Instructor Course takes place during the 4 days before and in addition to the standard 8-day retreat, making this a total 12-day / 11-night experience.

Your choice of SSI Freediving Instructor Level 1 or Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor (W2i) must be made before the course begins so you can complete the required preparation and study in advance.
